Connect your TV to the internet

To be able to fully enjoy your TV you will need to connect it to the internet. You can either connect it wirelessly or use an Ethernet cable. You will do this during the initial setup process.

3rd Party Apps

To be able to get 3rd party apps you must sign into your Google Play™ account. If you do not have a Gmail account, you can sign up ahead of time or on your phone during the setup process. Also, start remembering your passwords now so that you can start using your favorite apps immediately on your phone.

Setup Tips and Tricks

Here are some tips and tricks to help you optimize your TV setup.

Setting up your display mode
  • Out of the box your display is set to Energy Star. You can change it to Standard, Vivid, Sports, Game or Movies by:
  • Step 1 – Hit the Settings button on the remote
  • Step 2 – Select Picture
  • Step 3 – Select Display Mode and choose your mode
Setting up your sound
  • Out of the box your sound is set to Standard. You can change it to Music, Movies, News, Game or Original Sound by:
  • Step 1 – Hit the Settings button on the remote
  • Step 2 – Select Sound and choose your mode
Powering down your TV vs sleep mode
  • If you press the power button and hold it down for a few seconds it will power down your TV. If you quickly press the power button it will go into sleep mode.
Pick the screen/input you want to see when your TV powers on
  • Choose your preferred screen when your TV powers on. Out of the box Cable/Antenna is selected. You can change it to LeLive, AV, VGA, HDMI 1, HDMI 2 and HDMI 3 by:
  • Step 1 – Go to Settings on the LeEco home screen
  • Step 2 – Go to Preferences and select General
  • Step 3 – Select Boot and select your preference
Using an HDR HDMI cable
  • If you are connecting a 3rd party device (i.e. Blu-Ray DVD player, Tivo® DVR) with an HDR HDMI cable make sure you plug it into HDMI1 on your TV.
Using external speakers
  • If you are using external speakers (i.e. Sonos® speakers) with your TV you need to change the speaker output.
  • Step 1 – Go to Settings on the LeEco home screen
  • Step 2 – Go to Sound in the Device menu
  • Step 3 – Select Output
  • Step 4 – Select Speakers and choose External Speakers
